Asus G73JH-TZ011V Gamer Laptop
Asus launches in the hexagon a new laptop gamers targeting, the Asus G73JH-TZ011V 17.3 inch format and Intel Calpella platform running on a Quad Core i7 Clarksfield, 1000 GB of disk space and dedicated graphics card peformance most of the time, the Radeon Mobility HD5870, for price to less than 1,500 euros.
On Asus G73JH-TZ011V, mini-light system based on Linux, Express Gate for quick access to Internet is installed. This is also the case of the facial recognition system via webcam SmartLogon and Technology Hybrid Power4Gear that adjusts the processor frequency depending on usage (4 modes available) and allows, for example, to extend the autonomy of about 20% to 25%.

He has a rather unusual design for a model gamer, who does not flashy with its aggressive lines, however, inspired by stealth aircraft F-117 Nighthawk. We particularly appreciate that Asus has opted for a matte finish, either inside or on the hull, which has the effect not to highlight fingerprints.
The connector is positioned on the sides, power connector, VGA, HDMI, 2 USB and card reader is present on the right while the Ethernet port, USB (x1), optical drive, another USB and audio ports are located on the left. At the rear, there are two large air vents for good normally dissipate the heat generated by the components and mainly dedicated graphics card.
The keyboard is a model chiclet backlit flat matte keys well spaced from each other. The touchpad, offset on the left, has a button bar. Below, a large access door is present. Finally, note that the laptop is tilted slightly forward.
Asus G73JH-TZ011V appears as one of the few in its class to benefit from the graphics card, the most powerful moment and a Quad Core Clarksfield. The Radeon Mobility HD5870 is one of the strengths of this laptop, a powerful graphics card that can handle newer games in native resolution while the screen is full HD.

It displays a resolution as comfortable for the desktop multimedia. Its format is 16:9 also shows particularly well suited to playing videos. Second advantage of this Asus G73JH its Core i7-720QM performance at home in most situations.
This CPU Quad Core is particularly well suited to multimedia works such as video encoding and proves to be a good companion to the powerful dedicated graphics board. It is supported by 6 GB of RAM fully operated by the 64-bit system. Both drives offer to share a lot of storage space 1000 GB, but unfortunately it does not work at 7200 rpm (a priori).

Finally, the connection is probably the point that will disappoint more than a bus for the tariff, we would have liked the presence of e-SATA ports, Firewire and ExpressCard and a Bluetooth module. The lack of Blu-Ray is also noted but not full HD screen, it remains rather consistent in the configuration.
